I want to start by saying that 3 days in New Orleans is NOT enough to do and see all the things I wanted.. aww shucks guess I'll have to go back again sometime.. Also apparently $250 isn't enough either haha! I had so much fun being back in the south, breathing the humid air, being around loud and crazy people who do and say and wear what they want.
First day we got there we just decided to drink and not do anything serious right away, so gone we were down to Royal and Bourbon street where I woke up to a large amount of photos I don't remember taking... thank you Bourbon street::
so the next day was more of a shopping and looking day. We biked to the Garden District, had brunch and shopped for antiques. The architecture is amazing. The Sunday was so lazy.
here go some amazing houses I found:::
after the Garden District, we made our way to the rooptop bar at the Troubadour to catch the sunset in the city turn to night. We get to the 17th floor and a neon sign greets us with a message that reinforces the feeling of the weekend we've had:
As Sunday night set in we headed to Frenchman Street - home of the Jazz area.
Last day. Woke up too late. Didn't do too much. But i did get a tattoo...
As we walk down Frenchman St. in the day time, there seems to be the realization of two different cities in one: the city by day and the city by night.
The cleaning crew in this city is ON IT.
To close out, I have a love in my heart for New Orleans that I'm not surprised about. I knew I would love it but not this much... hmm somethign to think about..
NEED TO GO BACK IMMEDIATELY. NoLa on my mind..
